Castleconnell Craft Fair

Castleconnell Craft Fair is in its 22nd year, commencing in 1989. Starting off as a Sunday evening display of local craft workers output, the Fair has grown over the years both in scale and scope. Held annually on the October Bank holiday weekend, the two day event attracts punters and exhibitors from far and near. Displaying forty plus crafts from all over Ireland, the Fair has grown in importance and is now known in Craft circles as the place to be.

The location for the Fair is the beautiful Castle Oaks House Hotel, Castleconnell, Co. Limerick. Add to this the excellence of the Crafts, both local and from further afield but all genuine Irish crafts. The Fair attracts over 2,000 people annually over the Sunday and Monday with a lot of repeat business on day two. Purchasers of unique Christmas presents will have a field day with prices ranging from a few euro to many hundred. The event has substantial support in the community of Castleconnell as well as Limerick and adjoining counties.

Craft Fair 2010 will take place in Castle Oaks House Hotel, Castleconnell on Sunday and Monday October Bank Holiday Weekend and is open to the public between 12 midday and 6 pm both days.
